ARTIST STATEMENT:

I was a florist before I was an artist and I’m happy it worked out in that order. A long list of lessons about color, scale, texture, and confidence were kindly taught to me by snapdragons and tulips. The focus of my artwork falls into the category of large-scale, pop art painting. I believe life is better with hoops of laughter so my pieces consistently embrace punchy colors, lightheartedness, and whopping personality.  My studio, which I share with a highly unambitious French bulldog, is in downtown Coldwater, Ohio. Most recently, I have exhibited at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum in Cincinnati, Oh; Neon Heater in Findlay, Ohio; and Shrine in NYC.
