ARTIST STATEMENT:

I am a self taught painter working with acrylics, oil, ink, sand, pastes, and gels on canvas. I am fascinated by the marriage of mediums and the changes that develop as the painting dries. I listen to music while painting. Familiar lyrics and melodies assist the fluid process that I have adopted to create abstract works.

It was during the winter of 2014, when I bought an acrylic paint set for a friends daughter and we had more fun than I could have imagined. Painting was added to my passion for photography.
